The Police have 14 days in which to issue a speeding fine notification to the registered keeper. Outside of this time it is unenforceable.

If you are successful with your challenge and your fine is cancelled by the issuing authority, we will be able to credit you the amount of the fine or issue a refund if you have already made a payment to Pendragon Vehicle Management. Please provide our fines team with a written confirmation of the cancellation from the authority and they will process the credit or the refund for you.
IMPORTANT: Please note that the administration fee is not refundable, even in case of cancellation of the fine by the authority.
Fines - The key things you need to know
All fines will be paid directly by Pendragon Vehicle Management with the sole exception of Police Prosecutions, for which we are legally required to provide to the Police authorities the details of the driver of the car at the time of the infraction. Once the fine has been received and settled by our fines team, you will receive an invoice for the cost of the fine and our administration fee and a copy of the fine for your records. This ensures that all fines are handled on time, more efficiently and, most importantly, that you, as our valued customer, can always take advantage of the following:
You will always only be invoiced for the discounted fine rate payable. This will ensure that you are not charged any late payment fees by the local authorities if you forget to deal with a fine promptly or if there are any delays with the postal service.
Ease of payment:
Your usual payment terms will apply for our invoice and you will only have to make one payment to us rather than one to us and one to the issuing authority.
One stop shop:
You will not have to deal with complicated forms, user unfriendly authority websites or different payment platforms anymore. Our friendly fines team will be able to assist you should you have any questions or wished to get any information on how to challenge a fine.
Opportunity to challenge a fine:
Should you feel that a fine has been issued incorrectly or that you have reasons to challenge it, please rest assured that payment of a penalty notice does not imply an admission of guilt and therefore you will still be able to challenge a paid fine. If your fine is cancelled, we would send you a credit for amount of the cancelled fine.
Reduced administration fee:
To ensure that our customers receive the best value for money, we have reduced the cost of the administration fee by 50% for the service of paying fines on behalf of our customers from £25.00 +VAT to £12.50 +VAT.
